Thank you for stopping by! I hope the Year of the Fire Rooster is treating you well. I am delighted to be taking part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the 6th time, in the delightful company of Plush Tiger Productions, playing American poet Emily Dickinson in storytelling show "Hive". Read our 4-star review from Edinburgh guide here!

I also recently finished filming Scottish "folk horror" film "Far from the Apple Tree" with director Grant McPhee and actresses Sorcha Groundsell (of BBC "Clique" fame) and Victoria Liddelle (The Loch)- great fun playing the somewhat mad Penelope Sade. News of the film's release will be posted on here in due course.

Last year was very exciting for me as I made my TV debut as  Suzette, the ladies maid, in the Golden Globe nominated series Outlander, with the amazing Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, on the US StarZ network and on Amazon Prime as well as the French Netflix site. It made for an exciting summer job last year- to say the least. You can read the interview I gave for Canadian fan blog ABOotlander here. Outlander is now showing on Channel4- get watching!

In parallel I  recorded my first audiobook: Claudine at School by (one of my favourite) French author Colette, for RNIB Scotland. It was a great experience, thanks to litres of water, apple juice, and Dr Nelson's inhaler! I look forward to doing more of this type of work in the future.

In recent years I also worked on playwriting for Vienna's English Theatre and various music collaborations, particularly with the staggeringly talented musician Richard Kapp. (A festive example of our musical fun can be found here! (Baby, isn't it cold outside?))

Since graduating from the National Theatre School of Canada in 2003, I've been lucky to get involved in a wide variety of creative projects, from classic theatre to devised projects and new writing, fringe shows, TIE and children's theatre, voice-over work, award-winning short films and more recently TV. And all of this bilingually... (I am after all a French native!)

Way before that, "in a galaxy far, far away!", I took my first professional steps with French theatre company La Compagnie du Pont-Neuf in my home town of Nantes, with which I took part in musical comedy Les Prétendus de Gimblette by Eugène Labiche and gritty contemporary drama Les Combustibles, by Amélie Nothomb.

Edinburgh Fringe appearances include the 4* comedies The Pantry Shelf (as Velvet), Timeshare (as Lady Macbeth), and the critically acclaimed 5* site-specific Phaedra at Craigmillar Castle with Offstage Theatre (as Chorus).

Devised theatre projects have included working in collaboration with Tightlaced Theatre and playwright Robert Howat on Charlie & my '45, a play about the Jacobite rebellion, with Cressida Brown on chorus work for Phaedra, also with Marion Shortt and Mark Prebble of Team MandM on Filmaka short film competition winner The Wilkinson Test

I have hugely enjoyed touring beautiful Austria with Vienna's English Theatre schooltours ( as various plants and animals in The Little Prince and as Marie the Maid in Ionesco's The Lesson) and Scotland's primary schools with Environmental Arts Theatre.

I have loved working with NonsenseRoom Productions on their splendid adaptation of Capra's It's a wonderful Life (as Violet Bick and Mrs Bailey) and Humbug! A Christmas Carol as Belle; taken part in Glagsay! Festival in Tennessee Williams' The Parade (as Miriam) at the Citizens Theatre and appeared in Siege Perilous' Turning to the Camera at Ocean Terminal (as Cassandra, Officer Brown and a pretty fun turn as "Old Lady Driving Car"!)

In 2008 I co-founded the Actors Kitchen theatre company, whose first collaborative project, In Transit, received great reviews. I became the company's director in 2010, directing and appearing in the sell-out 4* run of Shelagh Stephenson's The Memory of Water in 2011 (as Vi).

In parallel to stage and TV work, I have lent voice to Fischer Price toys (I'm a famous toy clock!), sang background vocals to Best Electronic Act in Scotland Plum, and had great fun interpreting the nutritious children's songs of The Barrow Band. I also sing regularly with Edinburgh-based Georgian song trio Shemodgoma.
